My kids and I came for an outreach piano recital. We enjoyed the bright, clean, and warm atmosphere. It was extra special to have residents be part of the audience, and my kids were encouraged by the kind remarks regarding their performance. Thank you so much for hosting us!

I recently visited The Villa at San Mateo for the first time while attending an event they were hosting for residents, and I was thoroughly impressed. The main building is absolutely beautiful, and the coffee lounge in particular felt more like a stylish restaurant than a typical common area. It was spacious, elegant, and had excellent acoustics — I could hear the piano clearly from the back of the room, which made the piano concert even more enjoyable. The residents I met were warm, pleasant, and welcoming. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and left me with a very positive impression of the community.

I recently organized a piano recital for my students at The Villa and it was such a great experience! Kim and Stephanie were amazing to work with - very kind and helpful. The residents were incredibly sweet and welcoming to my students, and their kind words really meant a lot to the families who came. We held the recital in the Coffee Lounge, which was a beautiful space - spacious, well set up, and perfect for a concert. The whole place had such a warm and inviting vibe. I'm so glad we got to share music in such a supportive and friendly environment. Highly recommend The Villa!

What a pleasure it is to assist Kim. I am one of the volunteers and Kim is always so pleasant and friendly and helpful to all of us. She is also responsible for bringing is different groups to come and give the most interesting lectures or information for us to enjoy. There also is a movie room for current movies and a hot serving of freshly made popcorn available almost every day!!!! The maintenance workers are always helpful and also so friendly. It is so nice to have them assist with maintenance issues...and I must mention that there is always a nice cup of coffee or tea or nice glass of cold water available to the residents!!!! What a bonus!!!!!

I had a wonderful experience as a prospective tenant. The employees are super friendly and informative, and the amenities seem fantastic.

The Villa is such a warm, loving, and welcoming gem in our community! The staff is excellent, and always willing to lend a helping hand. The pool is beautiful and inviting. They always have lots of fun activities for guests.
