APARTMENT REVIEWS IN San Mateo

We have lived at the Villa for 2 years, and it has been great with my husband’s wheelchair. I would describe the facility as “low-frills”, but everything that we need is here. We appreciate that the residents are very diverse, friendly, and mutually supportive. We are happy to have down-sized and gotten rid of property maintenance. Some of the frills that we do have are: 1) twice weekly exercise classes 2) a beautiful swimming pool that is kept sparkling clean 3) Amazon Hub package delivery 4) good equipment in the exercise room 5) social activities 6) a comfortable guest room for visitors 7) attractive landscaping

It has a great sense of community and a very helpful and friendly staff. We have a new manager, and she really seems to care about the Villa community and has a great refreshing flair for dressing up the common areas. Really like the accent on keeping up with the heritage of this older hotel motif from years ago!! One of my favorite activities here is the licensed exercise classes offered to the age appropriate group of residents. I have been going for the 10 years I have lived here, and I am sure it has prolonged my aging process!! I have been able to participate as a volunteer for most of my years here. It helps to be able to give back to the community we live in. You can enjoy the beautiful and clean swimming pool or just sit by it!! someone is always walking by, and it is nice to have conversations instead of just sitting in your apartment! The Villa is located in such a great spot, and you can walk to Molly Stone market, Walgreens, CVS, many hair and nail salons for local shopping access! If you have any problems associated with your apartment, I have found the staff is always quick to respond!! They offer many activities to "get you out of your apartment" if you so desire. I especially like the walking group on Saturday mornings! Very Very Happy Here!
